“Green” is the New Black!

During certain times of the year,  usually in the Spring and Fall, designers from around the world somehow come to a  consensus (whether real or imaginary) and identify a specific color which will become the mainstay for that fashion season.  It has recently been orange, brown, white and even grey.  This is considered the quintessential color necessary to show up in a wardrobe, if you want to be considered at all, as fashionable or in the know.

As every professional woman knows, there is nothing so iconic as . . .”the little black dress”!  You need to have this essential in your wardrobe in order to transcend the ups and downs in the fashion trends arena.  As consumers, we are asked to transfer theses feelings of iconic security and loyalty to the newly appointed heir to the color throne.  It is sometimes very difficult, especially if you have a preconceived idea regarding the chosen color or you simply just don’t gravitate toward it naturally.  Whatever the case, if you want to be part of the group who is” in the know” you need to familiarize yourself with these trends.  Ultimately, you will benefit and  generate results because of this knowledge base.

Conducting any type of business today, has some of the same caveats.  Simply put, for business today – “Green” is the New Black.  If you want to get your business out of the “red”, or you want to prevent your business from even entering that status at all (which unfortunately is prevalent in today’s economy) you must be willing to -  go “green”.

Going “green” is the wave of the future for business.  It is here and it isn’t going away.  People who were once perceived as being on the fringe, are now being looked at, as deliverers of a new survival doctrine.  Survival of the planet, survival of the economy and survival in general is finally attached to “green”.  Now this is not just a euphemism for money but rather a movement of removing the toxic products, toxic behaviours and toxic financial models from our society.  And some companies are leading the way.

I am proud to say that my company, CIME4enterprises, inc. has affiliated itself with an international corporation that has understood this concept for almost a quarter of a century.   They have set the bar at a level that is quite extraordinary.  It has garnered my attention for over 6 years and the minute I had the opportunity to integrate their philosophy into my own business plan, as “Green4wellness”, I did so.

Individuals and businesses alike are looking for new ways to improve their income streams, improve their lives and take control of their finances.  In addition there is a growing consciousness that we also need to stop squandering our resources and recognize that we have a long-overdue responsibility to our society.  So, for those companies that want to be standing after the dust settles, it is imperative that they remember that “Green” is INDEED the New Black.  It makes a statement, it sets a standard and it allows us to grow.  “Green4wellness” is my New, Little Black Dress and it can be yours too!
